Bloco’s Combat Dragon! Is he fierce or is he friendly?
My little guy loved building his Bloco Combat Dragon! And he loves playing with it, too. It’s “fearsome Dragon Friend Tame enough to ride on your shoulder, but fierce enough to guard your bedroom.” 😉
Its mouth even opens and closes!
Soaring through the sky.
Resting on the bed.
This is the first Bloco toy we’ve bought, and we can’t wait to buy some more! I was impressed with how durable it is–it’s not like any other foam toy we’ve used. The foam is very heavy duty, the connectors are plastic and work very well to hold it together so that you can play with it without it falling apart.
Research concludes that children learn a lot by designing and building things. Skills like creation, examination, and problem solving all come into play. My son learns by building and taking things apart, just like his daddy. The Bloco Dragon is listed as the hardest of the sets to build, and it did take my little guy awhile, but he’s very good at following directions and built it on his own. He did need encouragement from me, but I knew that he’d be so proud when he finished it all by himself. And he was!
My daughters love to build things, too, tand they can’t wait to try one of the other Bloco sets. Suitable for ages four to twelve. Some of the others include Robot Invasion, Savanna in Pyjamas, Marine Creatures, Mandrill, Orangutan, Gorilla, Scorpions, Insects, Lizards and Chameleons, Tiger and Panda, and Wildcats. You can find the Bloco Combat Dragon and most of these other sets at Timberdoodle, our favorite learning products store!
Special thanks to Timberdoodle for providing us with Doodle Dollars to try out this toy!
