I am a wife to a military man, and a homeschooling mom with six beautiful children at home.  We currently live in southern California, where we enjoy playing on the beach and at Legoland, CA.  I love to write, sing, and read great books.  I also love to teach — which turns out to be a very good thing!  I started the Bow of Bronze website as a place to capture information about our products, our lives, and homeschooling.

Why do you blog?
I love sharing ideas, product reviews, and inspiration through writing. I have been writing and publishing since Junior High when a really great public school teacher named me editor of our Jr.High newspaper. I just love sharing my life through this medium.

Why do you homeschool?
We homeschool because we want our children to love Jesus more then anything, and love learning in a way that public schools are failing to teach our children. We want our children to be able to think independently and articulate clearly. Homeschooling just works.
