Living out the proof that God has a sense of humor
After 5 boys we were not expecting #6 to be a girl! We are a busy family with lots of drama on and off the stage. This blog is to give the kids (and me) a chance to write about all the stuff that interests us so you’ll see all sorts of topics like Legos, bugs, drama, knitting, homeschooling, and lots of pictures of all we do.

5 Boys And A PrincessWhy do you homeschool?
We started homeschooling because my husband is a nurse and works horrible hours/ shifts. We continue to homeschool because I enjoy having my children at home as a family and can’t really imagine any other way of life. We do re-evaluate it each year and I find that I’m not as die-hard about it as I used to be; our oldest finished high school at the public school because that was what was best for him and for the family and it was good. #2 son is now in high school and it’s good that he is home, at least for this year, next year may be different.

Why do you blog?
We started to blog to give the kids an outlet for writing and to keep in touch with friends and family that don’t live in our area. I continue to blog because it gives me somewhere to talk out my thoughts, to share experiences, and it’s fun. I try to write at least weekly (Project 365 is a recap of how our week went) but I’m going to school full-time right now and blogging sometimes gets put off to another day.
